we do have a limited number of these units being made. The cost for this high grade version is $245.
These transistors test with better specs. The sound differences are very minor, but it's electrical characteristics and failure
rate are slightly better.

Stock Vintage Rangemaster sound,

… BEST PART, The ULTRA RARE MULLARD OC44 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! …
This is the transistor used in the mid 60's and only the best survive our critical testing. Low leakage of 150uA or less and
Hfe of 80-110 are minimum requirements for the transistor to be used in our circuit. |
* Second best part, DC jack and Negative ground system so it
will work with your other DC adapter supplies and effects pedals and not burn up! VERY PRACTICAL! * Violet LED...
* Each unit is perfectly dialed in...internal potentiometers
let us fine tune each of the tested and passed OC44's for optimum operation. * Tone Control!!! Yes ours has a second way
to control the frequencies of the boost made, plus the Standard Level Control. Treble-cut style gives you the tone shaping
where you need it! * True-Bypass 3PDT switch, Switchcraft jacks. Powder-coated for heavy durability and hand silkscreened! * Stamped
serial number case just like the Keeley Compressor and Time Machine Boost

Les Paul and Fender Amp ~~~ Treble Mode
|
Customer Recorded! EXCELLENT SOUND AND FEEL by Pat Kelly!
"For this clip, I used a Les Paul into the Java (set at: switch on treble, tone up full, and level at about 3
o'clock), then to my MXR noise gate, and finally, to my Fender Pro Concert w/ the drive channel engaged (drive at 6,
and reverb at 5). This proved to be a killer sound for me, I absolutely love it! I can really hear the different
characteristics of the various guitars I play through the JAVA! Let me know what you think of the clip, and I
will get more to you ASAP. Oh yeah, the clip is a blues thing inspired by Hendrix's red House, but it is more
of me just noodling around."
Sit back and make some Coffee (Java) while waiting for these high quality audio clips to load. ;-)

Strat and Fender Amp Midrange Boost
|
Pat Kelly adds another file. This clip is the Mid-Boost mode, remember it boosts/overdrives both mid and high
frequencies. The response has been great on the above clip so we are happy to have Pat add another! ;-) Also,
these clips show higher gain settings, you can turn the gain Level down and get a nice lightly boosted tone. This is
Extreme-Java Boost! ;-)
"I am using a Strat w/ Texas Specials to the Java, and finally to my Fender Concert's gain channel. The Java is
set at: Switch set to mid boost (great for Strats), tone all the way up, and level at just a little over half
way. I really get my amp's preamp screamin' with the boost the Java!!! The Java just blows me away!
I have not touched my Tube screamer since I got the Java because I don't need any extra gain!! This clip was sort
of inspired by the Red Hot Chile Peppers Rockin' Funk......"

For this clip I used my strat into the Java (mid boost mode, tone maxed, level at 6), to
my Fedner Concert's clean channel (bass 8, mid 6, treble 3, reverb 2.5, and vol. 2). Note the changes in volume
with the changes in my picking dynamics. The change in dynamics causes the Java to boost more allowing for a very
expressive feel.

For this clip I used my strat w/ the neck pickup into the Java Boost (mid boost mode, tone
maxed, and level at 3), to my Fender Concert's clean channel (bass 8, mid 6, treble 3, reverb 5, and vol 2).
The Java boosts the clean channel nicely to give the signal a subtle kick. Surf's Up......

For this clip I used my strat to the Java (mid boost mode, tone maxed, and level at 6),
to my Fender Concert's clean channel (bass 8, mid 6, treble 3, reverb 2, and vol 2). Again, note the changes in dynamics,
both subtle and not so subtle. This makes for a very expressive setup, which suits me very well.
Hey Java Joe, listen to this!

Full Range Boost ~~~ Nearly a Fuzz!
|
This is another clip from Mr. Kelly, note how dynamic the clip is. This is not the all out fuzz clip for sure, this
clip shows a medium gained FULL BOOST MODE, but note how dynamic it is, try that with your pedal, it's hard to pull off!
"For this clip I used my Yamaha Weddington Classic to the Java Boost (full boost mode, tone maxed, and level at 5),
to my Fender Concert's clean channel (bass 8, mid 6, treble 3, vol 2). For the first part, where the chords are
arpeggiated, I used my neck pickup with its volume at about 6 for a cleaner tone, then, in the second half, I change
to my bridge pickup with its volume at full. Notice the change in volume just by switching pickups and using the
volume on my guitar. This is all thanks to my Java Boost!

Pat Kelly said "For this clip I used my Yamaha Weddington Classic to the Java (full bosst
mode, tone maxed, level at 7), then to my Keeley DS-1 ((tone 6, level 5, and dist. 8), and finally to my Fender Concert's
clean channel (bass 8, mid 6, and treble 3). Very distorted, the way Toni would like it!"
